Long shot, you are seeing the same issue if you use Windows Command Prompt as well, right?

Hi,
1) I see the same. We used dongle and package generated from SDK v17.1.0.

Using the example from SDK 17.1.0 does not repair.
On Linux working, on Win 10 not.
In our opinion problem is with libusb1 or nrfutil.

2) Output of "pip show libusb1" command

This is an old board that uses an engineering version of the nRF52840. I recommend getting a newer board.

1) Do you see the same if you test(with the dongle) using a newer SDK version? e.g. nRF5 SDK v17.1.0?

2) What do you get if you run "pip show libusb1" in the command line ?
