Hi, most parts aren't necessary, but it's recommended to mount decoupling and VDD capacitors, and the DCDC components (if applicable) so the current flows as intended. Stuff like the external crystals shouldn't be necessary to mount.

As far as I know, programming adapter don't have any other parts, and it can be used to upload the code.

So I thought the other parts are not necessary only to upload the code.

Is there anything wrong with my idea?

Yes, you also need to assemble the other parts on your custom board so the nRF52832 is able to run normally before you program it.
