&lt;p&gt;The MCUBoot sample directory can be found here: SDK_ROOT/bootloader/mcuboot/boot/zephyr if you want to build it separately. But please note that you will lose some of the benefits when you build it as a standalone project compared to when building it as a part of a &lt;a href="https://developer.nordicsemi.com/nRF_Connect_SDK/doc/latest/nrf/ug_multi_image.html"&gt;multi-image build&lt;/a&gt;. In multi-image builds you do not have to worry about FW signing or if the FW images will overlap in memory.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
