I tried in another computer and it worked. It could be because of an access issue in my other computer.

Hi Dejan,

Yes, I deleted the previous install and tried again. I also installed the version 1.7.1 toolkit as well. But still having the same issue.

I tried installing manually, however, I get some permission errors when running the command

west init -m github.com/.../sdk-nrf --mr v1.9.1

I am running the commands in the Admin cmd prompt.

Hi,

Both automatic and manual installations are supported for Windows 10.

Did you fully delete previous installation before starting new one?
There are more information about automatic installation. Can you check if you have done all required steps?

Something is wrong with your installation. Installation type depends on your system. You can read more about automatic installation and manual installation.

Hi Dejan, Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately, I don't see Zephyr folder inside my nordicsem/v1.9.1/ folder.

I see the following folders:

.west

nrf

toolchain

Should we install Zephyr project manually? Somehow it is not installed with the steps I followed in the DevAcademy.

Hi,

ZEPHYR_BASE is one of the environmental variables. You can use zephyr-env.sh to load Zephyr specific settings to your current terminal environment.

Hi All, I tried opening a bash using the nrf tool chain manager. It showed a message saying "NCS repository are not yet cloned here. To do so run the following command:

ncsmgr init-ncs

I have attached a screenshot of this below.

It suggests unsetting ZEPHYR_BASE, which I am not sure where it is located. If this helps hope someone could help me with the issue.
