If two devices are in a network, they have only agreed on being part of the same network, but they don&#39;t have any direct means of sending messages to each other, without it being set up first.</p> <p>What you can do is to look at e.g. the coap_client and coap_server sample applications found in NCS\nrf\samples\openthread\coap_&lt;client/server&gt;.</p> <p>These will be able to send messages to each other.</p> <p></p> <p>Best regards,</p> <p>Edvin</p><div style="clear:both;"></div>
