My bad I should have been more specific. We are using the high frequency crystal of the Laird BL654 module and do not have an external high frequency crystal on our board (or a low frequency one for that matter).

Hope this helps!

RE: Issues adapting the Radio Test sample to our custom hardware which is using the nRF52840 SoC

Hi,
The Radio Test example comes using UART and the external high frequency crystal oscillator which both have to be adapted to suite our hardware. This is why I set in the sdk_config.h file the NRFX_CLOCK_CONFIG_LF_SRC to 0, CLOCK_CONFIG_LF_SRC to 0, and CLOCK_CONFIG_LF_CAL_ENABLED 1 (to match the settings of our existing hardware).
You have an external high frequency crystal on your board, right?
