I want to advertising with NRF52840 DK, I do tutorial explanation and for PCA10056\S140 after load main.c it compile without any error and warning but I cant find any device with "Helloworld" name on bluetooth mobile phone .
for pca10040\s132 I have error: #5: cannot open source input file "nrf52_erratas.h": No such file or directory
any help with this issue would be a massive help

When I try to Build ble_app_template_pca10040_s132 I get the error "Error starting process /arm/bin/iccarm". How can I fix that?

I want to send four bytes for Minor and four bytes for Major in the beacon example.

Hi,

I am new to BLE and nrf SDK and I have the following the doubts,

1. Is this tutorial example a non connectable advertisement?

2. I went through the program but couldnt find advertisement type not defined anywhere?

3. There is a separate function to initialize GAP parameters, do we need to initialize apart from advertisement init? I mean dont adv_init in turn initialize the gap params as well?

Please dont mind if the questions are to silly.

I get this error: "nordic_common.h": No such file or directory, on SDK 8 and SDK15. And 63 ohter errors that i have fixed, copying 'components' folder of SDK, to 'examples' folder. This is strange, all '.c' files have the referece to 'components' folder, linked to 'examples\components'. Something its really bad here.

This tutorial is for SDK15 or SDK8? I have the same error in SDK 12.13.0, SDK15.0.0, and SDK8.0.0: "nordic_common.h" file not found. And at least for me, all 'c' files of this tutorial example project (boards.c, bsp.c) have a wrong reference of 'components' folder, trying to get him in examples\components folder. Here, the components folder, is in the SDK folder, and not in examples folder.

Hi. i'm using IAR and St-link to program the NRF52832, but the bluetooth has not been set up by the method that you proposed. and also the crystal dose not work because when i set the delay on for example:500 ms, my real waiting time is almost 4 seconds.please help me to set the out put crystal and set up the Bluetooth. Thank you.

i use nrf51822. i cant find old version of beginner tutorial that explain about nrf51. anybody know how we can access to old file?
