Nice blog. Could we have this in S140 and more detailed part on guide for advertising with whitelist? It seems like whitelist is removed from .advparams in S140.

I tried to run the example code to better understand BLE, but with SDK 15.0 the code is not compatible due to some data fields missing in the ble_gap_adv_params_t struct. Maybe, for the further please also state the SDK version which the example code was tested. Thanks!

I think it would be true to say that not many of the examples used the soft device API's starting with "sd_" directly. They appear to use the abstracted layer implemented in "ble_advertising.c" which doesn't aid understanding. It would have been nice if this blog had made this clear.

I can see from the ble_advertising.h that this only is for softdevice <=2.

How to I use this with the Peer manager in SDK 14? (and Softdevice 5)
