Setting BT600 (nRF51822) device name using AT+NAME command:

After I set the bluetooth device name by sending AT+NAME=LGS\r\n, I do read this new device name when send AT+NAME?\r\n. However, the bluetooth host continues to see the default (old) device name "BT600".

Am I not using the correct AT command?

Possibly have a simple Tutorial like Just one way communication like BROADCAST and OBSERVER. I am absolutely sure you know what you are talking about, however you are having trouble getting it across to me. Something simple like press button on 1st nRF527832DK and light a LED on 2nd nRF52832DK Thank you very much

When I build it through Keil 5 (and SDK 14.0), it exceeds the 32kbytes free limit. How can I build it with the free version? It's 37kb. Is there any option to shrink it further?

I'll try with the SDK 11 as in the video.
