There is no reason why the Gazell library shouldn't work on the nRF52833, it's essentially a stripped down version of the nRF52840, which does support Gazell.
Still, I will double check this with the software team to be sure, and get back to you.
The software team confirmed that we haven't prepared any dedicated examples or binaries for the nRF52833.
I would suggest trying to adapt one of the PCA10056/nRF52840 examples to work with the nRF52833, as these devices are very similar in terms of peripherals and features.
