New Order Code with Access port protection Controlled by hardware and software

As I know,the New Order Code of nRF52 Series  has added Access port protection Controlled by hardware and software function,  the earlier order code :Access port protection Controlled by hardware  is NRND, I want to know the difference Between Both, Any difference for software develop, thanks In Advance!!

    Hi,

    The main difference is that in the latest revision access port protection is improved. Due to changes in the MDK there is a requirement to use firmware based on nRF5 SDK 17.1.0 or later or nRF Connect SDK 1.6.0 or later. If you are using a older SDK (which shipped with an older MDK), you need to migrate your application to use MDK 8.40.2 or later. See IN-142 for more information.
