Geofence Capabilities in BLE Mesh

We don't have any examples or already implemented solutions for this specific usecase.

My point is like the mesh node if it goes away from certain virtual fence of our interest then

You could have the node perform some action if it is in range of specific nodes in the network. If you could define the geofence in that way? This is done using asset tracking, light control etc.

is there any possiblity that we can actually lock the node automatically

What do you mean "lock the node"?

even if it is the radio range of mesh not the range of virtual fence of our interest.

So you want to be able to "lock the node" when it is still in range of the Mesh, but outside the virtual fence?

Lock the node in the sense it should not work beyond that fence range. Say gets unprovisioned.

And one more point I want to know is how to know whether a node is in the network or outside the network ? How can we know how many nodes are in the network or outside the network after all nodes are provisioned.

Can you please brief what is node broadcast as a beacon..?

Please guide me where is asset_tracking example, I couldn't locate it.

We have a beaconing example in the SDK that you could take a look at.

I don't think we have an asset tracking example for Mesh, unfortunately.

Why nrf mesh app is not updating itself with the number of nodes in the network and went out of the network as nrf Connect does..? Why is this updation is not happening in BLE _Mesh..

Not sure what you are referring to here. "Number of nodes in the network and went out of the network", could you elaborate?

If suppose say 10 nodes provisioned in the BLE Mesh network, suppose 6 nodes are present in the network and remaining 4 nodes went out of the range of the network or say they are powered off, why this is not getting updated on nRF mesh mobile app side..?

Where as using BLE and nRF connect we can sense whether the connection is there or disconnected. Why not this in nRFmesh case..?

Well, the nRF Mesh app doesn't really keep track of nodes that are out of range, powered off etc in that way.

It will show you the nodes that you have provisioned and are part of your network, "disconnected" or otherwise.

"Disconnected", even this is fine how to know whether a node is disconnected in nRF mesh app..?

That was maybe a little unclear on my part. What I meant was that the nodes will show up in the nRF Mesh app, regardless of their status in their network.
The app will keep track of the network that you have provisioned.
