bootloader flash

hi,

I want to build and flash only mcumgr bootloader code to my controller , from the example which i observed i am getting that mcumgr is always with some other example like with Blinky , or with some other example. can't i build the standalone boot loader ? if No then what is the reason for the same. please suggest as very simple example so that I can go through that bootloader code. like which all the files it is dependent ? what is the basic setup we need to verify that. kindly suggest.

Hi, The MCUBoot sample directory can be found here: SDK_ROOT/bootloader/mcuboot/boot/zephyr if you want to build it separately. But please note that you will lose some of the benefits when you build…

The MCUBoot sample directory can be found here: SDK_ROOT/bootloader/mcuboot/boot/zephyr if you want to build it separately. But please note that you will lose some of the benefits when you build it as a standalone project compared to when building it as a part of a multi-image build. In multi-image builds you do not have to worry about FW signing or if the FW images will overlap in memory.
