JLink programmer not seen in tools anymore

SES IDE, nor nrfConnect programmer tool sees the JLink programmer attached to my PC. No "idcode" in SES. No devices appear in Programmer.

Windows10.

JLink_Windows_V764e_x86_64

Nrf-command-line-tools-10.15.4-x64

Nrfconnect 3.11.0

I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple combinations of versions above. This list is the last set I've used that works.

This is not an EVK it’s a SEGGER Jlink programmer connected to custom hardware.

It shows up as Jlink Driver under Device Manager->USB and I can't see any other device/port/etc. in device manager that may be it. The properties of the driver say it's working.

Are you able to use nrfjprog command lines tool in a terminal?

Update: An nRF connect for desktop update that will address the issue is in the making.

I am not able to use the command either. Even if I was, debugging would still be impossible.

When is a fix expected? This is stopping me from professional development work. Is there a version or set of versions of the tools that do not exhibit this problem?

The fix is to the issue where the JLINK device does not show up in nRF Connect for Desktop apps, If you are not able to use the debugger in other environments, like in a terminal with nrfjprog commands then the issue might be somewhere else.

So If the JLINK device does not show up in SES, any nRF app or in VS code then are you sure the device works? doe the same JLINK programmer work on other computers?

Yes it works on other computers. I have a JLINK base and a JLINK pro and they both work on other PCs but not mine. Can you tell me what versions of the tools I need to install to get it to work in GUI environments (i.e. no bug that is currently being worked)?

A am using using a JLINK base, but I only have the issue in the nrf connect apps v3.11.0, like the programmer app v3.0.0. If I use SEGGER, VS code or command line then I am able to use the programmer.

Might work, but from you description of your issues it seems like the problem might be elsewhere.
