nRF SDK not configured properly for windows.

Hello,

I am beginner to work with Nordic, I am trying to setup the development environment for nRF5340 Chipset.

For that install nRF Connect Desktop v3.11.0 version.

From that I have installed ToolChain Manager, Inside that configure nRF Connect SDK v1.9.1 SDK for windows. But it was not configured as expected(See below Screenshot)

One interesting thing here, It is only creating toolchain folder, I had tried same setup in different path as well but the result was same.
Could someone please guide me, where exactly the problem here?

Yes, as suggested I have remove all the content(.west and toolchain folder structure) from ../ncs/v1.9.1 folder.

This should not be possible. If there is no .west folder, nothing can be initialised. Have you closed the Toolchain Manger & nRF Connect for Desktop completely and restarted it before running the command?

Another thing I would recommend is to use the default path in C:/user/ncs/..., at least for the first installation attempt.

  • I had tried to install on C:/User/ncs/.. folder but facing issue of permission here.
