Hi

after install sdk of nordic(Installing manually — nRF Connect SDK 1.9.99 documentation (nordicsemi.com)) on ubuntu 20.04 LTS, when run EmbeddedStudio, i got the message:

uable to parse json string.how to solve it?

i am noticed that someone else got this problem, but on windows(Open nrf sdk project failed,SyntaxEroor :uable to parse json string.how to solve it? - Nordic Q&A - Nordic DevZone - Nordic DevZone (nordicsemi.com)) it seem to have solved the problem.

i wonder how to fix it on ubuntu 20.04?

Hi,

nRF Connect SDK 1.9.99 is the current state of main between 1.9.x and 2.0.0, so this is bleeding edge and you should normally expect issues. I do not have anything to add other than what you found in the other thread, unfortunately (that should be platform independent, though).

Note that for nRF Connect SDK 2.0.0 Segger Embedded Studio (SES) will be deprecated as a IDE, so I recommend that you move away from SES and start using nRF Connect for VS Code, which is the supported IDE going forward.
