Receive / transmit using nRF5340 DK

I'm a bit confused by the "unidirectional" solutions offered as examples / documentation for the nRF5340 DK. I would like to build a BLE Audio headset that both receives and transmits (ie a conventional office type headset)

Is thIs this possible or recommended and if so are sample projects under development?

    Hello,

    Could you please confirm what you meant by "Unidirectional solutions"  in your question. 

    If you are using nRF5340DK  I  will recommend you to use nRF5340 Audio development kit as it has more features and is designed particularly for Audio development. If you are moving forward with nRF5340 DK you need to adapt the nrf5340_audio_application for your development.

    Currently we don't have any sample projects in SDK but will be coming with  V2.0.0 of Connect SDK. Please have a look into this page as a reference for your start.
