using nRF52840 DK for developing nRF52805 SoC

Hello,

Can I use the nRF52840 DK to develop applications for the nRF52805 SoC?

I see in version of the nRF52840DK is says: "This kit can be used for developing for either the nRF52840 and nRF52811 SoCs." but it never explains how and why exactly these two versions?

Which soc is incorporated in the DK? I assume it is nRF52840, so how it would be used for developing for nRF52811 or any other SoC.

Hi Ahmed,

The nRF52840DK (pca10056) uses nrf52840 SoC.. But it can be used to emulate the functionality of nrf52811 as well since nRF52811 is a subset of the nRF52840 with smaller RAM and flash, and with less peripheral resources.
