Hello,
Really sorry, but with Nordic SES edition and NCS it is not possible to add the preprocessor via nRF configuration option, if you open your file via Open nRf connect SDK project (File-->open nRF connect SDK project... ). But if you are creating a new project from file option(File-->New Project), then you can see the preprocessor option. I tested it now and the previous answer was based on an older version(SDK). I have raised the question internally about whether there is any option to add preprocessor directives from SES IDE with NCS. My apologies if the last answer consumed your time a lot. You can add preprocessor directives by updating Cmake file.

Thank you Abhijith,
Could you please explain how each of the fields "Load", "Save As" and "Configure" in the screenshot below are used?

Hello,
ASAIK, Configure tab is the one you use to set configs that you have edited in that window.
Load is for loading an existing configuration and Save as exports the configurations that you have.
I have raised this concern internally but latest release of nRF Connect SDK(v2.0.0) is no more supporting SES, so I didn't get any good response.
Kind Regards,
Abhijith
Thank you Abhijith.
Fir the 'Load' button must the configuration file have a specific name or extension?
latest release of nRF Connect SDK(v2.0.0) is no more supporting SES
Is SES replaced by VS Code?
I'd better get ready for the migration to VS Code.
Kind regards
Mohamed
