On my nrf9160-DK, I'm looking to isolate the nrf9160 away from the onboard nrf52840, LEDs, switches, memory, VCOM, etc. as much as possible. I've read the manual several times but it is hard to find a definitive answer of "doing this disconnects this".
From my reading, it seems like:
- Switching IFMCU_DISCONN (SW6) will disconnect the LEDs, switches, and nrf52 (frees up P0.02/3/4/5/6/7/8/9 ??)
- Cutting SB11/12/13/14 will disconnect UART1 (frees up P0.26/27/28/29)
- Cutting SB20 will disconnect the I/O Expander IRW (frees up P0.06)
- Cutting SB23 will disconnect the memory CS (frees P0.25)
It is just hard to find a definitive answer of what pins IFMCU_DISCONN frees up even after looking at the schematic.
What is a good strategy to isolate the nrf9160 GPIOs from any/all extra peripherals on the nrf9160-DK to free up as many pins as possible?
Thanks!
