nrf52 saadc multiple channel change during run

I am developing for the nrf52832, S132, SDK17, trying to set up a SAADC multiple channel scan, however at times I will wish to only sample one channel, specifically - sometimes sampling from analog_in_1 8 times and sometimes 4 times from analog_in_1 and 4 times from analog_in_2, how can I do something like that?

Init saadc
Init saadc channels
Sample ADC as many times as you like with this configuration
Un-init saadc channels
Un-init saadc
Repeat from top for other saadc configurations.

Is there a way to stop and start just one channel without stopping others, lets say I have to modes

- 8 samples of channel 1, 8 samples of channel 2

- 8 samples of channel 1 only

Is that more easy to do, and how?

Hi Ron,

Not that I am aware of no, also have in mind that you can't use oversampling if 2 channels are configured, ref:
https://infocenter.nordicsemi.com/topic/ps_nrf52840/saadc.html#saadc_operationmodes_oversample

"Note: Oversampling should only be used when a single input channel is enabled, as averaging is performed over all enabled channels."
