please suggest nrf_sdk version as well as segger embedded studio version for PCA10056 (nRF52840)

I am asking because lot of projects in sdk is not building because file is broken "retarget.c"

please suggest the version for both

1. nrf_sdk for nrf52840(PCA10056)

2. segger embedded studio version

so there should not be any unknown compilation error for it

Please see that latest release of nRF connect sdk v2.0.0 is not supporting Segger embedded studio anymore. Hence I strongly recommend you to use Visual studio code instead of SES.

But if you want to go with SES then try with NCS v1.9.1 and  SEGGER version 5.8 or above can work.

Please do note that at present after installing v2.0.0, building on SES in the previous SDK versions causing a problem. We are working on a fix. So for the time being if you wish to develop using v1.9.1 or below kindly uninstall the v2.0.0.
