Q2. Can you show me a screenshot of how your nRF Connect for Desktop looks? The programmer should be available as shown below.

Without using nRFConnect for desktop Programmer

I connected the DK board via USB and it looked like mass storage, so it seems that I could write it by copying HEX to the DK board with Drug & Drop.

Then follow the nRF Sniffer for Bluetooth LE user Guide
After proceeding, I was able to confirm the Advertising Packet with Wireshark.

Glad to hear you got it to work by just dragging and dropping the .hex file onto the DK. That should be sufficient. I just tested the programmer app on my end and did not have this issue on my end. Can you "Open log file" and upload that here so we can get a better look at the log from your Programmer app? You can also try to do an nrfjprog --recover or --eraseall command with the nRF command line tools before trying again, and see if this issue still occurs.

Finally, Packet evaluation can be started, so I will check the operation of Programmer at a later date.
