How to setup/use for nrf sniffer

Hello  Nordic Support. 


I would like to build and use a Sniffer using a PC (Windows 10), nRF52DK, and nRFConnect for desktop.

Please teach me about the following.

nRFSniffer for Bluetooth LE V4.1.0 (4393_261 / 2021-11-08)
3.1 Programming the nRF Sniffer Firmware

Q1)
Where can I get the sniffer_nrf52dk_nrf52832 _ *. Hex for nRF52DK (PCA10040)?

1. 1. install nRF Connect Programmer.

Q2)
I have installed RF Connect Programmer for Desktop (V3.11.0)
The "Programmer app" menu is not found on the nRFConnect for desktop

    Hi

    Glad to hear you got it to work by just dragging and dropping the .hex file onto the DK. That should be sufficient. I just tested the programmer app on my end and did not have this issue on my end. Can you "Open log file" and upload that here so we can get a better look at the log from your Programmer app? You can also try to do an nrfjprog --recover or --eraseall command with the nRF command line tools before trying again, and see if this issue still occurs.
